Why you should use VPN | Top 5 reasons to use a VPN.

What is VPN???

A VPN is a great tool not just for privacy, but also security. There are tons of uses, from hiding your IP address from websites, or unblocking filtered websites on your school or work network, and even hiding your activity from a spying internet service provider.

Here are the reasons mentioned below

1)  Privacy : Prevents the IP Tracking

When you are connected to the VPN the websites cannot see your IP address only the IP of the       VPN server and because there are many people using the server you are effectively anonymous .

any server we use is the IP . If we choose the new IP address we can easily switch to the new IP.
This also mean that the search engines and other websites won't be able to track the behavior and if you are in a school or a work network they can't spy on you and see what are you doing.

Another important thing I should mention that you definitely assure that the VPN service you are using does not keep the logs or else who knows government can show up and your data in that way.

2) Use with Open Public Wi-Fi hotspot

Open  Wi-Fi means that they don't have password to connect and they don't encrypt the data send between your device and the hotspot . So unless the websites you are visiting using https you are literally broadcasting the everything you are doing on that computer or laptop.

When you connect through the VPN everything is encrypted before even leaving the computer so it does not matter that you are on the open Wi-Fi hotspot because the connection is secure.

3) Bypass school/ Work Web Filters

The VPN allows to bypass the work web filters that might be setup in your school or university.
It also helps to access if the website is blocked for some reasons.

VPN can also help to bypass the country why internet censorship such as the infemis the great firewall of china in that case you might use the VPN access to the certain websites in all from where you are and who you are.

4) Bypass the location media restrictions

For example : when you go on to watch the YouTube videos or the NETFLIX and it says it is not available in your country which has certain movies or shows that are .available in certain country.

To Bypass their restrictions you need a VPN. Just go to the VPN server where the website allow you to view that content and after that when you are connected to that server you will have the IP address of that country and it would look like that where you are conveniently.

5) Avoid ISP throtlling

Not all of them do this but there are plenty of ISP's that might limit your connection speed based on what program or service you are using at that time.

A common example is peer-to-peer downloading such as torrenting.

With the VPN all your data is encrypted through the same encrypted tunnel so your ISP will never show what are you doing at any time.So they can't throttle any thing .

  7. Great article, thanks for sharing. I have used free VPNs before, but they are not easy to use, or can not be used at all, Panda VPN and Surfshark VPN is working fine so far. The price is relatively cheap. 香港VPN台湾VPN
